The Russians try to accuse Ukraine of committing war crimes in the Russian Federation. For this purpose, eyewitnesses about "atrocities of the Armed Forces", "killings" of civilians, intimidation of people, looting and other crimes are spread to fake stories. The leadership of the Russian Federation and the command of the Russian army are not long that the fighting conducted by the Armed Forces in the Kursk region is not accompanied by violence against civilians.

On the contrary, Ukrainian defenders give locals to meet humanitarian needs and leave the war zone. This was reported by the Head of the Center for Combating Misinformation, Defense Officer Andriy Kovalenko. According to him, because of this, the Russians try to use the situation in the Kursk region for new information attacks against Ukraine.
