The drone received a screw engines to work in difficult conditions and lift up to 20 kg of amounts. In the occupied Crimea, a large drone-10 drone was developed, which is proposed to be used for military purposes. This was reported by the so -called "governor" of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozozhayev. "Saranch-10" was presented at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (PMF). The main feature of the model is the developers called the screw engine, which should increase the lifting force.

This, in turn, will allow the drone to fly in more difficult conditions, for example, in the strong wind, above the sea or in the mountains. The device changes the direction of movement of blades, like a helicopter. According to the Russian edition "Izvestia", the UAV "Sarangcha-10" was developed by engineers from Sevastopol State University. The head of the department of scientific activity of the university Alexei Chuklin stated that the drone can be used for both civil and military purposes.

The university representative did not specify the benefit of the drone on the battlefield, but reported that he could carry a useful load weighing up to 20 kg, and the developers are trying to increase the load. If it is true, the locust-10 is able to lift heavy ammunition, then arrange a bombing. It is also stated that UAVs can work from the battery for four hours or around the clock if electricity is supplied through the cable.
