A new package of assistance, aircraft strengthening and patronage over Zaporozhye: President negotiated with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands

In Zaporizhzhya, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has negotiated with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Diak Diak. The head of state thanked the head of the Netherlands government for visiting Zaporizhzhia, which is located a few tens of kilometers from the war zone, and suggested that the Netherlands take a patronage over the Zaporozhye region on the needs in the energy sphere, school protection, shelter protection, etc.

The main attention was paid to discussing how to strengthen protection against Russian terror and bring a just peace for Ukraine. “Key things are PPOs, Patriot and Missiles supply, and an increase in our F-16 fleet. We have ideas about this. Also - defensive packages for Ukraine: shells, equipment - and sanctions against Russia - all that it does not allow Russia to open new fronts for Ukraine, ”the President said.

Volodymyr Zelensky also noted that the Netherlands is a leader in air defense and F-16 coalitions, as well as in the implementation of the Peace Formula point on justice and participate in joint work to bring Russia to the war. "It is important that we work together for both Putin and all who realize his madness are responsible for this aggression - for the murder of Ukrainians, for the deportation of children and all other crimes of this war," the Head of State said.

In addition, the parties discussed increased sanction pressure on Russia, providing shelters, assistance to the energy sector of Ukraine, as well as preparation for the next NATO summit, which will take place in the Netherlands. Dick Shoiof assured Ukraine's further assistance to protect against Russian aggression and announced a new assistance package that will be aimed at supporting the energy system and will contain equipment for mineing, medical care and more.

Also in Zaporozhye, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Dick Shosof heard the report of representatives of the Air Force and GUR on the features of Russian air terror, tactics for the use of rockets, drones and cabin on civilian sites and energy infrastructure. They emphasized that efforts were needed to stop this terror: granting Ukraine permission and means to defeat the aerodromes of base and strengthening sanction pressure on Russia.
