Krylata on the National Selection on Eurovision-2025: "Stay True" as a reflection of war and hope

Krylata spoke about her song "Stay True", which reflects the experience of war and desperate hope. She stressed that it is not just a competition for her, but an opportunity to convey an important message to the audience. In addition, the artist revealed, as her nickname, chosen by her sister, became a symbol of her creative essence. Participation in the Eurovision National Selection for 2025 for Krylata artist is an important stage in her creative path.

In an exclusive interview with focus, she spoke about the changes that her music and the main message of her composition "Stay True" changed. The artist also shared her emotions about getting into the finals and why it is more than just a competition. The fact that I went into the national selection shortlist and is a major change from last year.

Of course, this path is not easy and covers many processes from writing a song (text, arrangement, erection, taking into account all the rules and edits) and shooting a clip to create a number with the participation of the whole team: director, choreographer, stylist, prescribed lights, graphics and plot . In my case, it is still parallel to passing the exams as I still study. But no matter how difficult it may be, it is goal and experience.

I was pleasantly impressed with this result, because I very much wanted my composition to be heard. It is radically different from last year's, as I do, so it is important for me that every listener finds himself in it, opened, felt. I sing about the war, and this song was born mostly of those experiences that overwhelm each of us today.

The war is ongoing, the war changes people, the war inside us is destroying, but this darkness, in which we try not to dive with our heads - has no right to defeat us. "Stay True" has a considerable spectrum of evoked emotions and memories, it sounds for those who feel lost and lonely, to those who have lost loved ones and home who are waiting It is nearby, but it is thanks to their voice that leads us further that we have the opportunity to live and defend further our borders.

Therefore, we cannot lose ourselves for them. We are also not allowed to lose humanity to each other, because in this our strength, as in unity. And that is why - the most valuable for me as the author - if I can help this song, support or give hope to others. This is my mission, in life, creativity and at the Eurovision contest. This is not a struggle, we are here for the same purpose, and first of all we want to put the maximum of our efforts in my number and the message I carry.

At the same time, I note that each participant is different and strong personalities, the selection will impress the audience.

It is not for the first time that I called me my sister (when I brought a poster for a competition, where I sang in my childhood, which was written "Forward our winged", and he still lives at home with parents), and since my sister - This is my loved one - in my memory, this moment was delayed in my memory, and releasing the first song - I did not hesitate to choose the winged as a nickname.

Now I understand how clearly she felt me, because that's what I am: creative and easy, sometimes vulnerable, but strong, dreamy . . I do not like to expect any result, so further actions will be clear after the speech, and one hundred percent and in any -What case I will continue to work on the next releases, and possibly an album) and in general -you want to the mountains, my place of strength.

It is definitely telling/reminding the Europeans, what a strong nation is, and how we can not lose ourselves on the darkest days, help each other, in this our feature. I seem to be the youngest among the participants, and it is really an opportunity to show that even at that age, everything is possible without a super media background. It is important for me to stay alone with thoughts, at rest, to adjust myself and exhale physically. To embrace relatives.
