The Russian singer Shaman accidentally highlighted the positions of the occupiers in the Kherson region

Share: Russian singer Yaroslav Dronov, better known as Shaman, who came to "raise the morale" of the occupiers, accidentally gave away the positions of the Russian Armed Forces in the Kherson region. He posted a video that allowed Molfar Intelligence Institute analysts to quickly calculate his whereabouts. Among the features they noted are a characteristic wooden building with a roof, a transformer near a pole, camouflage netting, road signs, bio-toilets and UAZ cars.

Thanks to these details, experts established the coordinates of the location — 46. 310545419530364, 34. 77782752782351, near Rykov, Kherson region. Although this moment took place in 2023, the mass media told about it only now. Until 2022, Shaman positioned himself as a pop-rock performer, but after the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, he began to openly support Putin's policy and the so-called "SVO".

Ukraine, as well as a number of European countries, banned the entry of Dronov because of his support for the aggression of the Russian Federation. Shaman's main hits were the songs "Я Русский", "Встанем" and others. In the Russian Federation, Dronov is periodically criticized for the multimillion-dollar fees he received for his performances from the meager budgets of subsidized cities. The amount of payments for the artist's appearance on the stage reached 40 million rubles.

In 2023, Dronov was criticized for the music video for the song "We". In it, Shaman walked through Red Square in a leather suit and with an armband in the style of the German National Socialist Party, only instead of a swastika, the Russian flag was depicted there. In October of this year, Shaman performed on the stage of the Mansudeh Theater in Pyongyang, after which he ended up in the arms of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. Later he dedicated a song to him.
