"July Storm": Russia conducts large -scale Navy training against NATO activity (video)

To spread: the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the conduct of large -scale operational training of the Navy of Russia "July storm", which occurs between July 23-27 in the waters of the Pacific and Arctic Oceans, the Baltic and Caspian seas. The maneuvers are involved in the forces of the North, Pacific, Baltic Fleets and the Caspian Fleet.

More than 150 warships and vessels of security, 120 aircraft, 10 coastal missile systems, more than 950 units of military and special equipment, as well as more than 15,000 servicemen have been involved in training. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The main task of the "July storm" maneuver is to check the readiness of the forces of fleet and flotilla to solve non -standard operational tasks, as well as the comprehensive use of high -precision weapons of long range, unmanned systems, promising weapons and equipment.

Scenarios include protophic actions, protection of areas of base and marine economic activity, reflection of attacks of unmanned boats and UAVs, striking strokes on ship groups of a conditional opponent, in particular with the use of high -precision weapons. The Russian Navy continues to maintain high combat capability and remains among the three leading fleets in the world by WDMMW (World Directory of Modern Military Warfare).

In the ranking of 2025, Russia ranks 3rd place, second only to the US and China. In this case, the structure of the fleet indicates a gradual rethinking of the priorities of the Russian Maritime Strategy. The Combat Potential Index (TVR) of the Navy of the Russian Federation is 242. 3 points. This figure reflects not only the number, but also the combat value of each element of the fleet, including type, age, weapons and integration with command structures.

According to WDMMW, the modern Russian Navy demonstrates the displacement of focus towards: a separate niche is occupied by ships, rocket launchers and coastal complexes. Such a configuration indicates a strategy of asymmetrical restraint and the focus on the near and coastal area. At the same time, the bid on the nuclear component - the strategic bore rocket launchers, which remain the support of the marine components of the nuclear triad of the Russian Federation.

It should be noted that in June 2025, the Navy development strategy was approved by 2050, which is aimed at the return of Russia to the leading maritime powers with a focus on scientific and technical development and renewal of the fleet. We will remind, from June 3 to June 20 this year in the Baltic region were trained NATO under the name Baltops 25. 50 ships and 25 aircraft of the Alliance countries took part in the maneuvers.
