According to information in the post on the Buchan Terroborons page, the devices found are GPS modules that were placed near city administrative buildings and power facilities. According to Terroborons, the equipment works at low frequencies: 433/470 MHz. This allows "beacons" to transmit data over long distances. In addition, transmitters operating at this frequency are almost impossible to detect.

In the ether, they "merge" with the signals of most Ukrainian radio stations that operate at the same frequencies. The residents of Bucha, who came across such "findings" in the local Terrobon asked to report "beacons" on a 24 -hour operational line. At the same time, some social network users in the comments under the post were skeptical of the version of "beacons". People claim that the radius of action that works at such frequencies is no more than one kilometer.

In view of this, according to Ukrainians, devices can be used by SBU staff to track operational information, but not by Russian military. Judging by photographs and specifications, in Bucha, locals could find a TTGO T-Beam fee, which is at the same time part of Prime Edition Mark II. According to the technical characteristics, a smart module operates at a frequency of 433/915/923 MHz. The operating voltage of the equipment is 1. 8 ~ 3. 7 V.
