Against weapons: Zelensky proposed to impose sanctions on the company of the Russian Federation and RB for 50 years

The bill proposes to stop the fulfillment of economic and monetary obligations in favor of residents of the Russian Federation and the RB for military operations and double use. The leader of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky presented the Verkhovna Rada of the Law on the introduction of sectoral sanctions on the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus in the field of defense-industrial complex. These restrictions include action for 50 years. This was reported by the project 10271.

The project is proposed to approve the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine of November 20, 2023. According to the document presented, it is envisaged to introduce a number of sectoral special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) for the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus in the defense and industrial sphere: we will remind that 11 packages of sanctions against Russia were approved at the end of June 2023.
