The Russian authorities decided to expand the so -called "banana embargo" for all major suppliers from Ecuador. "After expanding those who cannot import bananas into Russia, there will be 18 companies - all the largest banana suppliers from Ecuador," said the sources of journalists, calling the situation, which is essentially a trade embargo.

Bananas in the Russian Federation will also increase in price, the embargo naturally provokes a jump in prices, explained by representatives of the Russian importing company. About 90% of all bananas in the Russian market are imported from Ecuador, said the lecturer Dmitry Zvialov. It all started after the Ecuador authorities agreed to transfer the United States of Old Soviet weapons - after repair and modernization, equipment can go to Ukraine.
