Technique is not new: the Russian Federation was noticed a t-72b3m tanks (video)

According to Polish observers, the T-72B3M of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are less likely to occur. This is due to a sharp shortage of spare parts, in particular for power plants, which affects the timing of repair of equipment. A video appeared on the network that recorded the transportation of Russian T-72B3M tanks and trucks through the St. Petersburg area.

The frames were removed from the 61st Tanporamore Plant, where these tanks were probably repaired and upgraded, the Defense24 resource said on October 8. There are also several Ural trucks in the video, however, according to social networks, there should be more cars in the echelon, including UAZ SUVs, although they are not shown in the video.

The publication writes that in reports on new supplies of the Russian army to Ukraine modernized T-72B3M are increasingly occurring-this is unlike the T-90M and T-62M tanks. This trend may be associated with the exhaustion of stocks of tanks suitable for rapid repairs, as well as with a sharp shortage of spare parts, in particular for power plants. According to Oryx, Russia has already lost at least 644 T-72B3 tanks during hostilities in Ukraine, of which 186 were captured by Ukrainian forces.

T-72B3M is the latest modernization of the T-72 tanks. Its main weapons include a 2A46M-5 mm 125 mm caliber, which can shoot anti-tank controlled missiles 9K119m "Reflex-M". In addition, the tank is equipped with a 7. 62 mm PCT machine gun and a 12. 7 mm caliber machine gun on the tower. Protection of the tank is strengthened by the modules of dynamic protection "reel", installed on the sides of the case and tower, and the motor compartment is covered with metal screens.

The power plant is a 1130-horsepower diesel B-92C2F, which provides a tank with high maneuverability and power. Finally, it is noted that this modernization helps to extend the life of the T-72B3M, but the continuing shortage of spare parts and losses on the battlefield can complicate the further operation of these machines. Earlier it was reported that a modernized T-62M tank appeared on the front of the Russians.
