The Russian Federation withdrew a 170,000-strong army near Pokrovsk: how the enemy acts - a soldier of the Armed Forces

The senior sergeant of the platoon of unmanned systems of the brigade reconnaissance of the 42nd OMBr, known by the call sign "Ron", spoke about the current situation in the Pokrovsk region on the air of the "We — Ukraine" TV channel. He noted the large number of enemy manpower, which, at the same time, operates in small groups of infantry. "This is their tactic. At the beginning of the war, 200,000 entered Ukraine. Here, 170 are in Pokrovsk alone. There are a lot of them there," said Ron.

The military man emphasized that one of the main problems is the underestimation of the enemy, who, despite the huge losses, continues the assaults "in waves" without regard for the lives of their own fighters. "They broke them into such small piles. Let's take 11 thousand infantrymen, who are now trying to go to Pokrovsk in waves. And they send 4, 2 people at a time, because if you put a company there and say "guys, go ahead", then the company there can shoot that commander with a crossbow.

According to the sergeant, in Pokrovsk itself it is difficult to conduct military operations with the help of equipment, since there are many anti-tank hedgehogs and concrete "triangles" in the city. But in the Rodinsky area, the enemy uses a minimal amount of armored vehicles — a few tanks and two or three BMPs. Therefore, mostly the enemy's infantry uses motorcycles and buggies.

In the end, the fighter said that the situation in the besieged city was extremely difficult, but the "best of the best" defenders had arrived there and had already begun their combat missions. We will remind, according to information from the ISW resource, Ukrainian troops continue defense and counteroffensive actions in the Pokrovsky direction. It was reported that the Armed Forces advanced in eastern Rodinsky.

And the 7th Airborne Assault Corps provided reinforcements and supplies in the Pokrovsk direction, preventing Russian troops from advancing in the northern part of Pokrovsk and cutting the Pokrovsk-Myrnograd highway. At the same time, the German military columnist Bild noted that there are no armed clashes, bombings or drone strikes in the central streets of Pokrovsk.
