Following the example of the United States: The Defense Ministry told how to protect the phones of the Armed Forces (infographics)

According to Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chernororenko, Mobile Device Management will give access to the military analogue of the App Store or Play Market, which already has 68 applications for military needs. The Ministry of Defense Innovation Center implements Mobile Device Management technology (MDM), which should protect the personal phones of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

The Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for digital development, digital transformations and digitalization Kateryna Chernororenko wrote about it. Mobile Device Management is reported to provide access to the App Store or Play Market. The technology is mounted on the smartphone and after checking the device, the military receives access to applications for military needs. So the personal data of the military will remain inviolable, and the military will be able to remove remotely.

According to Kateryna Chernoroenko, there are currently 68 applications, 14 of which were developed purely for war. According to the official, similar methods of raising cyber defense of servicemen are used in the US Army. "MDM makes it possible to use their own phones and tablets in the service, leaving them protected. This saves costs and time for purchases," the Defense Ministry emphasized. Recall that the Defense Ministry also work to convert the mobile application "Reserve+" to online TCC.
