Quick and silent: Armed Forces fighters switch to MOSPHERA MOSPHERA MOSPHRA

To spread: Ukrainian forces of special operations of the Armed Forces began to actively use Latvian MOSPHERA Latvian production for hidden movement and supply on the front line. This solution is associated with active use on the advanced Russian UAVs. This type of transport can be described as off -road electrics.

According to Global Wolf Motors founder Claus Ashmanis in an interview with Business Insider, they are almost twice as large as civilian models, equipped with motorcycle tires, capable of developing speeds up to 100 km/h and to be up to 300 km per charge. The weight of transport is only 74 kg, which makes it easy to maneuver even in wooded terrain and, if necessary, extract transportation manually.

"The wheelbase, similar to an electric dump, makes it easy to maneuver between trees and paths, and the weight of 163 pounds means that if it is still stuck, it is much easier to pull it out than a motorcycle,"-said Global Wolf Motors. According to Ashmanis, Ukrainian fighters use Mosphara to deliver goods, evacuate the wounded and intelligence in the occupied territories. Machines provide quiet movement, which is important for evasion of Russian drones.

An additional plus is the ability to quickly hide the scooter in the shelter when it is not used. Powls of electric samomokates were more efficient than motorcycles and bicycles in combat: the technique is lighter, maneuvering and does not suppress the sound of drones, unlike the noisy motorcycle engines. In this case, operation requires less resources than the use of armored vehicles or cars that are priority for Russian Kamikadze drones. Despite the benefits, electrics have restrictions.

The driver remains vulnerable to the enemy's fire and weather conditions, and the battery efficiency decreases at adverse temperatures. It is noted that Ukraine has now received only 11 Mosphara scooters, four of which have been transferred to Latvia in 2023. The units have already invited additional supplies, but the plans of the Latvian Ministry of Defense remain unknown. Recall that Russian infantrymen are also used on the advanced technique.
