FSB agent tried to join the Drone Army in Kiev: What is known (Photo)

The Russian Federation wanted to use the reconnaissance for air attacks on the facilities of the Armed Forces and the SBU. The FSB agent was detained "on hot" while photographing one of the military units in Kiev. In Kyiv, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detained the FSB agent who tried to join the Drone Army School. This was reported in the SBU press service on Telegram. "Security staff conducted a multi -stage special operation, which resulted in the detained another FSB agent in Kiev.

He collected intelligence on special units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the SBU specializing in the use of unmanned aircraft," the message said. They noted that at the end of the summer the man received the appropriate task from his Russian "curator". After his enrollment in the Army of the drones, he had to establish locations of landfills, where cadets were taught to manage shock and reconnaissance UAVs.

In addition, he needed to identify the places of base of Ukrainian special units of UAV and their drones. The SBU emphasized that the enemy wanted to use this intelligence information to carry out air attacks on the facilities of the Armed Forces and the SBU. The hostile agent also recorded the locations of Ukrainian fighters in Kiev. The Russians promised their agent a monetary reward for successful tasks.

However, the SBU exposed the suspect in time and detained him "on hot" while fixing one of the military units in Kiev. In particular, the Russian agent was a 49-year-old Kiev entrepreneur, whom representatives of the FSB were remotely recruited two months ago. The Russian Federation noticed it through anti-Ukrainian posts on one of the Russian Telegram channels. Further communication of the enemy with the agent happened through an anonymous chat in the messenger.

The SBU investigators informed him of the suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (State betrayal committed in the conditions of martial law). The Russian agent is threatened with life imprisonment. We will remind, on September 28 it became known that the SBU detained the informant of the Russian Federation. She transmitted information about the Armed Forces in Donetsk.
