Hybrid Air Bomb and Grom-E1 missiles: why the new weapon of the Russian Federation is more dangerous than ordinary bones

To extend: The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launch in Ukraine hybrid rockets-bombs "Grom-E1", created in order to increase the accuracy and range of corrected aircraft (CA). The Russians seek to increase the range of airbombs, first of all, to keep their bombers away from the front line, where they are easier to knock down, said the political scientist and former designer-designer of the Southern Design Bureau Alexander Kochetkov.

According to the expert, unlike conventional aviation, the cabin has wings, which are opened after the bomb from the bomber. This design helps to fly up to 70 kilometers. In addition, you can install a GPS navigator that will increase accuracy. In the Russian Federation, they are constantly working to increase the range of these managed aircraft. One of these developments is the Grom-E1-the airbag hybrid and the latest air-air-air missile with a 250-pound combat unit and engine.

"That is, not only the wings, but also the engine. And in this way it allows to increase the flight range of this managed aircraft to 100-150 kilometers," Kochetkov stressed. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have already used "thunder-E1" to strike in Konstantinovka in August 2024. In addition, the latest Russian rocket has recently been knocked down in the Dnieper suburbs. The expert noted that these goals fly slowly and can be knocked down with fighters.

Kochetkov also emphasized that the Russian Federation has not yet produced "Thunder-E1" massively. According to him, the Russians only test technology, so it is unknown whether they will scale production. We will remind, on June 28 the head of Dnipropetrovsk Ova Sergey Lisak reported that the air defense knocked down the Russian rocket-bomb "Grom-E1". The goal flew over 100 km and was intercepted outside the Dnieper.
