The Russians stuck GPS and interfere with Starlink's work on the battlefield but the Armed Forces have already found a decision

After simple manipulations, the Starlink communication will become virtually invulnerable to the Russian EWS systems. Russian troops oppress the Starlink satellite connection, which are used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Ukrainian military specialist in communication Sergey Beskrestnov with the call sign "Flash" in the Telegram-channel called a easy way to solve the problem.

According to him, the Russians suppress GPS signals, which adversely affects the work of Starlink - equipment can, for a long time, 40 minutes, look for a network, regularly loses the connection, and the data rate is reduced. Fortunately, the developers of the satellite Internet have provided such risk and added a special function available at any moment, but only half of the terminals are in the hands of ordinary soldiers who do not know about it.

According to Sergei Flash, after such manipulations, the Starlink system is switched off from GPS and uses its own synchronization satellites. However, you need to change each restart with each adjustment equipment. "Musk has long come up with a decision, but many people do not know about it, continue to suffer, digging pits and installing nets," the expert said.

There is another way - to set the Star Debug application from the Ukrainian developer Igor Litvinenko and choose the "Igniter GPS" function there. It is important to wait for the terminal to the satellites before ticking, otherwise it will not work. If successfully configured, the terminal cannot be moved, otherwise the connection will disappear, but in this case it is possible to repeat the procedure and re -adjust the connection without GPS.

Programmer engineer Oleg Kutkov explained on Facebook that the Starlink terminal for a successful start, you need to calculate your position to find satellites in the sky under the laid program. He also needs to get the exact time to work online. The Starlink network itself can be used to determine the geoposition of the terminal, but it is difficult for it, so the process can take more time, and the "plate" cannot be moved.

The Inhibit GPS option allows the terminal to ignore false navigation signals after a successful start and obtain a correct position. "If there is no geoposition at the start, then with the GPS ignoring option, the terminal has a chance to get out online, but it can take a long time," the specialist said.

In comments on Facebook, the military Yevgeny Vinnytsky noted that Starlink terminals need to be drilled into the ground for security reasons, otherwise the equipment can be destroyed during the first shelling. "I forbid without a pit even to reveal them without a pit," he wrote. Earlier, Sergei Flesh himself advised to dig Starlink to protect against Russian remedies.
