The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Kirill Budanov stated in an interview with Ukrinform, published on February 27. "The version of our all -state is not yet a victory, let's say diplomatically in this sense - this is a massive misinformation program that they have launched about combating mobilization," he said.
Budanov urged to admit that the enemy program "works seriously" and really influences the consciousness of the Ukrainian population. He mentioned publications of conflicts with the CCC on the network. "You look, in fact, one or two sharp cases happen about a week about a week. But when you look at the Internet, it seems that it is a hundred at least every day," the intelligence manager explained. According to him, it is an example of a professional IPSO designed to influence consciousness.
The GUR chairman also urged that Russia was making efforts to loosen the political situation in Ukraine. "Here, as they say, many factors affect it, but such a methodological work, it began in the fall of 2023, which is aimed at preparation for, as they say, the seeding of distrust of power, it is the middle of 2023," he added. We will remind, on February 26, Major General Andrei Gnatov was released from the post of Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces.
