Fencing World Cup scandal: Ukrainian hackers broke the Russian Mail Anna Smirnova

The network contained hundreds of letters of the Russian fencing officer, which she sent and received since 2015, including online order and diploma work. The Hacker Organization "Cyber ​​Resistance" has declared the evil of Russian fencing officer Anna Smirnova, who refused to press the hand of an athlete from Ukraine Olga Harlan. They reported details on their Telegram channel on July 28.

According to the hactivists, who have cooperated with various power structures of Ukraine and the Informnampalm International Research Group since 2014, letters from the e -box [Email Protected], which belongs to Anna Smirnova, have got to their hands. They placed the ZIP archive on the FEX file exchange minute, where anyone can download it and get acquainted with the contents. The first letter dates from March 28, 2018 - a greeting of the new user by the Mail. ru service team.

In April of the same year, the user changed the password from Smirnova_any on the social network Instagram - it really belongs to Anna Smirnova, the last post was made from Milan (Italy) on July 23. The person of the mailbox is also confirmed by the passport scan, because it shows not only the name, but also a photo of the athlete.

Later, Anna Smirnova has repeatedly used this e-mail to change the password on Instagram, register on other resources, place orders in online stores (clothing, decorations, electronics). In July 2023, she also sent her diploma work to obtain a bachelor's degree in the specialty "Pedagogical Education" at the Institute of Physical Culture and Sports of Altai State Pedagogical University. Earlier, they wrote that on July 27, a scandal broke out at the Fencing World Cup.

Ukrainian Olga Harlan won Anna Smirnova, who acted under a neutral flag, and after refusing to shake her hand - according to the competition regulation, only after that the match is considered complete. A participant from Russia was waiting for her rival for about an hour, she even brought a chair, and demanded to punish the Ukrainian for "disrespect". Olga Harlan was soon disqualified from the World Cup by the decision of the International Fencing Federation.
