The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation fired the critical infrastructure of Ukraine: 7 energy was injured

According to Ukrenergo, employees were injured at two energy objects. One of them is in serious condition. On the night of June 20, the Russian forces have caused the seventh since March 22 a massive blow to Ukraine's energy objects. The attack was combined, using rockets and drones. As a result, the facilities of energy infrastructure in Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions, as well as the power companies in the Kiev region were damaged.

This was reported on Thursday, June 20, in the press service of NEC "Ukrenergo". According to the company, experts carry out inspection of damage, and where it is safe, emergency recovery work has already been started. Energy supply in Dnipropetrovsk and Vinnytsia regions has been restored, and work on renewal of energy supply in the Kiev region was ongoing. Seven energy was affected during Russian attacks on two energy objects.

They were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity, while one of the victims is in serious condition. Due to the consequences of the night attack, from 11:00 on June 20, the volume of measures of restriction of electricity consumption has increased. Restriction measures will operate throughout Ukraine until 24:00.

The main reason for the introduction of restrictions were the consequences of seven missile strikes on Ukrainian power plants. The company emphasized that significant damage does not allow enough electricity. Imports and emergency assistance from Europe are involved in the shortage of deficits, but these measures are not enough to maintain balance in the power system. Therefore, Ukrenergo dispatching center is forced to apply consumption restrictions for both industrial and household consumers.
