According to the adviser to the chairman of the OP Mikhail Podolyak, the Russian Constitution has nothing to do with stable legal documents, and its ham can not be considered as a basis for territorial claims. Volodymyr Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov threatened that the Russians would wage the invading war until they completely control the occupied parts of Ukraine, which are "recorded in the Constitution of the Russian Federation".

In response to such a statement, the adviser to the head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine, Mikhail Podolyak, stressed that no territories of Ukraine, recorded in the Constitution of Russia, which allegedly claims the Russian Federation. He wrote about it on Twitter. He also noted that the Constitution of the Russian Federation has nothing to do with sustainable legal documents and its content should not be considered as a basis for "claims to the territories of Ukraine".

In response to the journalist's questions about the possible occupation of additional Ukrainian territories, Peskov stressed that Russia has already included Crimea and Kherson, Zaporizhia, Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

According to him, the Russian Federation is set to "control all regions that are currently in the country's constitution as Russian. " Peskov also stated that there was no reason to settle the conflict with Ukraine at this time.
