According to the publication, the X-69 was in the development stage for a long time, but the full-scale war increased the need for Russian Federation in high-precision long-range weapons, which probably caused the production process. Russian invaders used the latest winged X-69 missiles during a recent massive missile shelling of Ukrainian infrastructure. About it reports The War Zone.

The publication reminded that recently the Ukrainian military blogger in Telegram channel "Colonel General Staff" published a photo of a fragment of the X-69 rocket, which was knocked down during a massive missile attack on February 7. The use of three rockets of this type was also reported by the Ukrainian resource for monitoring of air threats. According to these statements, on the same day, the enemy applied another recent weapon to strike in the capital - the anti -ship "Zircon".

For a long period, the X-69 rocket was in the development stage, but a full-scale war between Russia and Ukraine increased the need for high-precision long-range weapons, which probably caused the development and production process. Last February, the International Institute for Strategic Studies stated that X-69 "probably is at the final stage of development or at the stage of production.

" The publication noted that the X-69 was probably created specifically for the Russian Su-57 fighter, but according to the manufacturer, they can also be equipped with MiG-29K, MiG-35, Su-30MK, Su-34 and Su-35. "Although there were statements that Su-57 participated in hostilities during the conflict in Ukraine, there is no convincing evidence of this," the statement said.

We will remind, earlier Focus reported that among the benefits of X-69 can be called the stated secrecy of the rocket, and its guidance system. This system has a comprehensive approach using both the inertial navigation method and satellite navigation platforms GLONASS and GPS. At the same time, Bulgarian Military experts also note the drawbacks of the rocket. First of all, it is its susceptibility to modern NASAMS air defense systems, which makes the rocket a potentially easy target.

In addition, there is an obvious need to increase the accuracy and maneuverability of the rocket. Analysts compare the X-69 with the American AGM-158 Jassm-a universal rocket to strike both air and ground and marine purposes. But the American sample is favorably characterized by high accuracy and maneuverability. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation fired at the peaceful cities of Ukraine with the help of missiles and drones.
