In the Verkhovna Rada they want to allow the Ukrainian military to travel abroad during martial law so that they can visit relatives. This is stated in the Law No. 8090, which is available on the Parliament's website. The military will be able to travel abroad during vacation.

The time of service for years of service and service experience for the appointment of pensions on preferential terms is offered as follows: 1 month of service = 3 months of work. "In order to maintain the integrity of the families of servicemen, there was a need to grant them the right to travel abroad so that they can visit their relatives," the note reads in the document.

The chief initiator of the bill, MP Sergei Rudyk said on Facebook that servicemen - perhaps the only category of citizens who deserve the right to travel abroad. "Many of them voluntarily went to the Armed Forces, for months were" at zero "and during vacations should get the opportunity to meet their families abroad. Trips will become a kind of psychological rehabilitation and a powerful incentive to fight for the war for independence," He commented.

The duration of such leave for the military is calculated without taking into account the time required to travel to the place of vacation and back, but not more than 4 days one way, the People's Deputy said. The military is given a vacation with a simultaneous absence of no more than 5% of the total number of the unit, Sergei Rudyk added. It should be reminded that during the martial law, Ukrainian men of conscript age from 18 to 60 years is forbidden to leave the country.

In September, the border guards were allowed to travel abroad to men who accompany children with disabilities or go abroad to persons with disabilities. From September 14, the State Tax Service of Ukraine returned a ban on departure to men who entered the foreign LAB. The decisions were made because of a large number of fake education certificates.
