However, the newly elected US President does not tell any details about contacts with the Russians.
He did not answer the reporters who had already talked to the Russian side of his administration, but confirmed the information that such "negotiations" had already taken place. As for the conversation of Donald Trump himself directly with Vladimir Putin, journalists also asked about it. However, the US President has decided not to voice this yet. "I don't want to say that," he answered journalists.
At the same time, it is known that in early February there may be negotiations between Ukraine and the Trump team. This will probably happen during the Ukrainian Week in Washington, as the deputy from the "servant of the people" David Arahamia said on January 21. We will remind, earlier it became known that negotiations of Ukraine and Russia on the end of the war can start as early as April-May 2025. This will begin after the warning regime was announced, as the focus learned on January 27.
