In Zaporozhye, October 1 announced the day of mourning in honor of the memory of the dead. As a result of the morning missile strokes of the Russian army, 25 civilians were killed in the humanitarian column at the exit from Zaporozhye, and about 50 more were injured. This was told in the office of the Attorney General. "These people went to their relatives to the occupied territories, transported humanitarian aid.

They had to take our fellow citizens and take them to the free part of Ukraine," - wrote the head of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Military Administration Alexander Starukh. On October 1, in the Zaporozhye region declared a day of mourning in memory of the dead. According to Alexander Starukh, the missile blow was when people were standing in line for temporarily occupied territories. Local publications wrote that there were about 20 explosions in the city.
