After the war in Ukraine, there can be 4 million veterans - Ministry of Veterans (Video)

According to the head of the department of Yulia Laputina, the number of veterans in the country was a little greater than 500,000 citizens before the Russian invasion, but the new realities changed everything. After the war, the number of veterans in Ukraine can increase to four million people. This was stated by the Minister of Veterans Julia Laputin in an interview with RBC-Ukraine on October 13. According to her, the Unified Electronic State Register of War Veterans is now functioning.

They include all combatants, persons with disabilities as a result of war, as well as families of dead citizens. "There were more than half a million people in our register to a full -scale invasion. Separately, the head of the department noted that veterans are first and foremost those citizens who are participants in the fighting. The ministry grants volunteers, but the relevant armed formations give the status to those who serve them. "But except veterans, there are their families.
