Bridges across the Seimas River in the Kursk region is the key to the next possible operation of the Armed Forces, journalists explained. Due to the destruction of all crossings, units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are isolated, which can be thrown by the 80-kilometer Ukrainian border. For five days, Ukrainian troops destroyed three bridges across the Seimas River in Glushkovsky district of Kursk region and hit the pontoons twice.

Thanks to this special operation, they cut off units of the Armed Forces from the main forces and can now attack Russian fortifications. Forbes told about the situation in Kurshchyna, which was over the river crossings. Journalists gathered information about the hits on the bridges and pontons through the Seimas, which caused the Armed Forces from 16 to 21 August 2024.

In particular, they mentioned the destruction of three road bridges near the settlements of Glushkovo, Zannaya, Carizh and at least two blows on the pontoons. During the special operation on this section of the front, Ukrainian troops could use M30/31 shells, released by HIMARS, as well as FPV-punks, which were kissed by engineering equipment and boats of the Russians. The shells "poured one of the pontoons with hundreds of bombs the size of a grenade", it is noted in the article.

As a result, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation lost the opportunity to transfer additional forces into the isolated territory. To all, the enemy does not use aviation: the Armed Forces protected the air space "Earth-Air" and drones.
