In the Russian Federation plan to spend $ 1.1 trillion on re -equipment: in ISW revealed what Putin is preparing

To spread: Russia has ambitious plans for re -equipment that indicate preparation for a possible future conflict with NATO. The Kremlin expects to spend more than $ 1. 1 trillion on the modernization of its military forces by 2036, while mobilizing the economy and society.

Thus, the new analytical report of the Institute of War Study (ISW) is quoted by the Chief of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine Lieutenant General Kirill Budanov, who stated that Russia plans to spend about $ 110 billion on July 22 on a re-equipment for the next decade. According to him, the Kremlin is actively preparing for a large -scale war, restoring the Moscow and Leningrad military districts and forming new divisions on the basis of current military units.

ISW analysts note that the restoration of these military districts and the expansion of Russia's armed forces is part of a large -scale preparation for a possible usual NATO war. At the same time, Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that the military budget for 2025 will be about 13. 5 trillion rubles (about $ 172 billion), with plans to gradually reduce defense expenses after 2026.

However, the exact structure and distribution of these funds remain unknown due to the closure of the Russian budget. Experts suggest that the Kremlin can conduct a separate budget for re -equipment, which is different from annual military funding, especially in the context of war in Ukraine.

"It remains unclear how Russia will spend and distribute this declared re -equipment, and the Kremlin may consider re -equipment as a separate item of the budget, separated from the annual military budget for the war in Ukraine," the report reads. The other day, the head of Ukrainian intelligence Kirill Budanov said that Moscow wants to destroy the existing security and economic order.

He also noted that Russia is increasing influence in Africa through private military companies Wagner and the African Corps, supports authoritarian regimes and terrorists in the world. It conducts hybrid operations in the information, cybernetic and political spheres, interferes with democratic processes through controlled media and opinions.
