Putin did not go there: why the decision to start with Ukraine became a fatal mistake of the Kremlin

Under Pokrovsk, the Russians lost more personnel than the whole army of Great Britain, writes Cyril Sazonov. Every day, Putin has to ask himself: what kind of devil was it a single impassable way - through Ukraine? When you look at the numbers and the real situation in three years - a very interesting picture is obtained. The invaders lost more tanks under Pokrovsk than in any European country. They have lost their personnel more than the whole army of Great Britain. And continue to climb.

But not Pokrovskaya began. All their operations are a total disposal of iron and personnel. In 2022 we left Lisichansk and as a result we died there two mechokcopus. And the price they paid for Soledar? Or for the last offensive in the Kharkiv region? And these are not the largest losses of history. Almost all of Wagner was buried under Bakhmut and another ton of meat from the structures of their Defense. Coal - there in two years a very large cemetery turned out.

And Avdiivka? Even approximately it is impossible to calculate, but it seems to me a logical conclusion. The bunker rat with all its advisers, intelligence and Medvedchuk agent made a fatal mistake. The decision "Starting from Ukraine" was a terrible miscalculation. The plans to "quickly resolve the Ukrainian issue, and then how it will go" broke for one simple reason. The resistance of Ukraine was so serious that the beginning of a large operation became its end.
