In February, the average daily volume of oil processing in Russia decreased to 5. 21 million barrels - this is the lowest since the beginning of October. In Russia, there are problems with oil processing, since the refining plants (refineries) of the country cannot restore power after Ukrainian drones. According to Bloomberg, over the last week, recycling has fallen to the lowest level since October 2023.

The fall in processing reached almost 380 thousand barrels a day compared to December - the last month before Ukraine has started attacks on Russian refineries. According to journalists, in February, the average daily volume of oil processing in Russia decreased to 5. 21 million barrels, which has been the lowest since the beginning of October. A source familiar with the situation told reporters that in the second week of February, oil refineries were processed by 5. 16 million barrels of oil a day.

This is 94 thousand barrels a day less than the previous week, the journalists calculated. It is noted that since the beginning of 2024, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to damage six oil refineries in the Russian Federation, which in total is about 18% of the total processing capacity of Russia.
