China's export restrictions prevent drones in Russia, and have led to a shortage...

Russia is suffering from a lack of drones because of China's restrictions: Ukraine is also threatened

China's export restrictions prevent drones in Russia, and have led to a shortage of valuable components, including thermal imagers. In Russia, a shortage of drones and components to them began through the ban on China to supply drones for military purposes. This is stated in the material of the Russian edition "Kommersant", which was published on Monday, September 18.

It should be noted that since September 1, the China's Ministry of Commerce has already introduced export control over high -performance unmanned aircraft (BPS) that can be used for military purposes. Drones weighing from 4 kg or a maximum runway of 7 kg with a flight duration of more than 30 minutes have stopped to Russia. Also, drones, capable of carrying cargo with the function of reset or with the ability to secure such a device, were banned.

In addition, China restricted the supply of radio equipment for drones, infrared chambers, thermal imagers, as well as laser dalmmetry modules and positioning. At the same time, the PRC power prohibits the export of any drones, regardless of the characteristics, if they are used for military purposes. If the Chinese exporter violates the requirements of the license, it is threatened with administrative liability, and in the case of deliberate violation - criminal.

With reference to the market participants, with whom journalists talked on the rights of anonymity, the prohibition of the PRC power to supply drones for military purposes has actually led to the termination of supply of even products that do not fall under the restrictions. Large Russian drone manufacturers managed to create spare parts. They hope that their suppliers in China will be able to obtain all permits, but they can take up to a year, told the interlocutors of the publication.

To do this, it must be proved that the drone will not be used for military purposes and provide information about the final recipient. In turn, sellers of Chinese drones are trying to establish parallel imports. However, they face opposition, in particular in Kazakhstan, where they have increased the procedure of import days. Russian manufacturers working on a foreign component base already warn their customers about prices at least 20%.

A number of manufacturers and sellers in the Russian Federation noted that as the warehouse reserves are exhausted, they hope for the possibility of ordering on AliExpress, but there are no guarantees of receiving them yet. Representatives of the Ministry of Pumasor of the Russian Federation in a comment to the TASS stated that they did not receive manufacturers' appeals about problems with the supply of drones and components to them from China.

Ukrainian serviceman, communication specialist, radio electronic wrestling and intelligence Sergey (Flash) Beskrestnov in his Telegram-channel commented on the situation in Russia: paper. What will really see. " Sergiy Beskrestnov also drew attention to some important points that Ukrainians need to know in connection with the restrictions established by China: however, such export restrictions will be not only in Russia's aggressor but also in Ukraine. "Is it all about us.

Did we stock up on accessories? Are we looking for other ways of logistics? No concept," Sergei Beskrestov summarized in his post. We will remind, at the end of August we wrote about how and from whom Russia buys details for UAV "Lancet". Russia is still purchasing a number of materials for the production of printed boards that are needed for the production of technological weapons: epoxy composites, polyamide adhesives, polymer film, testing equipment.
