The SBU gave examples of theses that the novice of the UOC -MP spread: the man was found guilty of two articles of the Criminal Code: the court determined that the novice of the UOC -MP would hold in prison for 5 years.

It should be noted that in April 2023 the SBU press service told about a novice from Ternopil region, who spread pro -Russian narratives. The network has published reports that a 48-year-old man spread on social networks: it is not yet known whether the SBU is reported to the SBU today. It should be noted that in the fall of 2022 the SBU conducted a number of searches in the premises of different dioceses of the UOC -MP.

In April 2023, law enforcement officers published a number of searches - about 40 visits. In April, the court proceedings against the rector of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra Paul "Mercedes" began. The man is suspected of spreading religious hostility and justifying Russia's attack on Ukraine. Meanwhile, it became known about the exchange of the church of the UOC -MP for 28 Ukrainian prisoners - the head of the SBU Vasyl Malyuk told about it.

In addition, criminal proceedings against churchmen who supported the invasion of the Russian Federation are verbally or actions. Ukrainian citizens began to move from the arches of the UOC -MP to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. According to the portal "Openatnatabot", in the west of Ukraine these parishes remained the least (in Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk), and most of all-in Donetsk and Vinnytsia.

We remind that on July 1, the churchmen of the UOC -MP stated that they would not leave the Lavra, from where they are trying to evict them by the Ministry of Culture. At the same time, lawyers of the Moscow Church assure that the actions of the Ministry of Culture are contrary to the constitution. In May 2023, Ukrainians in the survey of the Razumkov Center told about the attitude to the UOC -MP. The survey data show that 40% of Ukrainian citizens do not trust this religious organization.
