The Russians are making progress at two points on the eastern front, the DeepState project told the Telegram channel. One of these points is near Stepova Novosilka on the stretch near Kupyansk: Ukrainian units rolled back 6 km and the gray zone increased. Another section is in the Pokrovsky direction, according to the analysts' report. In the meantime, the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out successful counterattacks in the Dobropillia area near the villages of Kucheryavy Yar and Nove Shakhove.

Analysts said that the Russians advanced in the area of ​​the village of Zvirove, located near the southern outskirts of Pokrovsk. Changes on the map — a triangular protrusion appeared, and the Russian Armed Forces passed about 800 m. DeepState data also showed that the gray zone completely covered the western districts of the city (about 3. 5 sq. km) and also the southeastern (about 3. 1 sq. km).

We can see that a gray zone stretches from the Red Liman to Pokrovsk from the north: the distance between possible positions of the Russian Armed Forces is about 6 km. On the morning of October 28, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation wrote that the Russians apparently occupied Rodynske, a village north of Pokrovsk. The DeepState map shows that the enemy forces have not yet reached there.

In addition, on October 27, a video from NSU fighters appeared showing the destruction of enemy soldiers in Rodinsky. Meanwhile, a soldier of the Armed Forces with the call sign "Muchnoi" told how the defense of Pokrovsk is going. According to him, the Russians are trying to knock out the Ukrainian defenders from the "Citadel" position, located in the central district of the city. The enemy does not yet control this zone, but "the areas under our control are getting smaller and smaller.

" In addition, the fighters of the 7th corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces hold the industrial zone in the "8th group" area, while "battles continue for every meter, literally for every building", and the Russians have advanced 800 m. "As for the so-called "stabilization" in this direction, which the officers are crying about, it is a delusion for reassurance," wrote "Muchnoi".

On the map published by the military, we can see that the Russians have gone far beyond the T-0504 highway and are trying to move further north on the western flank. Stanislav Bunyatov, a soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, spoke briefly about the events in Pokrovsk on the "Govoryat Sniper" channel. The post, which appeared on the morning of October 28, refers to the large number of drones and aerial bombs that the Russian Armed Forces use to attack the city.

Among other things, Ukrainian large bombers are under attack. The drones of the Armed Forces drop explosives on the positions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, deliver BC, and simultaneously evade Russian FPVs, the post says. "The level of support allows us to continue and improve our work," he wrote, explaining that the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are not blocked and have the opportunity to receive ammunition.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation reported in a report as of October 27 that in the Pokrovsky direction, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation conducted 79 assaults near 14 populated areas during the past 24 hours. The day before, the command informed about 34 Russian attacks: during the day, the intensity doubled.

It should be noted that on October 27, the analysis of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) appeared, which, among other things, related to the battles in Pokrovsk. According to the conclusions of Western experts, 200 saboteurs of the Russian Armed Forces made their way into the city. At the same time, it is impossible to say exactly where or where the positions are, since the battles are fought in the streets and there is no front line as such.
