It is noted that the Russian forces tried hard to achieve concrete success around Siversk and did not take confirmed actions in the direction of the city since the capture of the administrative border of the Luhansk region in early July. Thus, the Russian command is likely to try to keep the pace around Bakhmut, perhaps by pressure on Siversk. The invaders conducted limited ground attacks northwest of Slavyansk, as well as northeast and southwest of Bakhmut.
