According to scouts, the Russians are probably planning to go to the Oskil River and capture the city of Kupyansk, Kharkiv region, which is a large logistics node. Russian troops partially restored control of territories in the Kreminsky direction in the Luhansk region, where the Armed Forces had carried out a counter -offensive. Severe fighting has been in the Kreminna and Svatovo area since early March. This was reported by British intelligence in the summary for March 23.

According to the department, the Russians captured the territories on the approach to Kreminna. In some sections of the front, the occupiers were able to move a few kilometers. Experts point out that the Russian command is likely to extend the safety zone to the west of the prepared lines of defense at the heights, as well as to integrate a natural obstacle - the Oskil River. Most likely, the occupiers intend to re -capture the city of Kupyansk, Kharkiv region, which is a logistics unit.

At the same time, the efforts of the Russian Federation remain defensive in the northeast of Ukraine. Russian commanders are likely to be afraid that it is one of the areas where Ukraine can try to perform large counter -offensive operations.
