NPPs in the Kaluga region attacked drones of GUR: there were 5 explosions at the plant - focus sources (video)

A large -scale fire occurred at the oil refinery after a series of explosions. The fire covered the container with diesel fuel and fuel oil. On the night of May 10, a refining plant in the Kaluga region of the Russian Federation attacked several drones-Kamikadze. This special operation was carried out by specialists of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. This was reported by the focus of the source in Ukrainian special services.

There were 5 powerful explosions at the company from 00:45 to 01:25. After that there was a large -scale fire. According to preliminary data, during the special operation it was possible to affect the installation of atmospheric-vacuum tube AVBT-101 (production capacity-processing of 1. 2 million tons per year), three tanks with diesel fuel and another tank with fuel oil.

The locals before the explosions in the territory of the "first plant" in the sky heard the sound of the drones that flew and the work of the air defense. Later, a strong fire began on the site of the drone, emergency services arrived there. Information on the lesion of the refinery in the Kaluga region was confirmed by the head of the region Vladislav Shapsh. Eyewitnesses reported that the fire was engulfing containers with diesel fuel and fuel oil.

The "First Plant" is the largest petrochemical enterprise in Kaluga region. The plant is located about 300 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. The refinery is engaged in the processing of oil and gas condensate. This object was already attacked by Ukrainian intelligence on March 15, 2024. We will remind, on May 10 the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported the UAV strikes in three regions of Russia.
