Bundesver can no longer supply weapons and military equipment to Ukraine - the German Defense Ministry

Further supply of Kiev weapons from the Bundeswehr stocks will weaken the German army, according to the country's Defense Ministry. Germany's Armed Forces (Bundesver - Ed. ) Can no longer supply weapons and military equipment to Ukraine from their own reserves because it will weaken them. This was stated by the Ministry of Defense of Germany, reports Spiegel. "As for the supply from the Bundeswehr warehouses, we came to the permissible limit," the department said.

Thus, the German Defense Ministry reacted to the article of the Bundestag Deputies Christian Klinka (Social Democratic Party), Sarah Nani and Alexander Muller (Free Democratic Party). Politicians believe that it is necessary to increase the transfer of weapons to Ukraine, in particular from the Bundeswehr stocks. In their view, the military industry of the country should be tightened to quickly close the gaps in the number of troops.

"Under this condition, the Bundeswehr Profile can and should temporarily come to the background compared to Ukraine's sustainability in the current critical situation. Because Ukraine's survival is in the interests of Germany's security policy," the deputies said. Meanwhile, the representatives of German Chancellor Olaf Scholtz again rejected the accusations of hesitation of weapons to Kiev.

The Sholtz office believes that Berlin supplies enough weapons to Ukraine, but it is also important not to exacerbate hostilities. "We have taken note of the statement from the Parliament Hall," the Federal Office said. We will remind, on July 19, the Minister of Defense of Germany Christine Lambrecht stated that in the Bundeswehr the reserves of weapons to provide military assistance to Ukraine. She then said that Berlin would continue to support Kyiv, but the resources were limited.
