Shot aircraft of Ukraine: Russian drones fell in Romania "accidentally" - the Ministry of Defense of the country

Defense Minister Azel Tillwar stated that the territory of Romania was not the purpose of the UAV attack. There are no material damage and victims due to the incidents. The Romanian Defense Ministry stated that the air defense of Ukraine had shot down Russian drones and they fell in the territory of the country "accidentally". Digi24 writes about it.

According to Minister Azel Tillevar on October 11, speaking to Parliament, the UAV Shahd-136/131, which fell in the Romanian territory, entered the "uncontrolled movement" and "accidentally" penetrated into the country. "Currently, the technical examination of fragments removed from two locations has been completed, the report has been submitted to the Prosecutor General's Office in open proceedings in accordance with the procedures," the Minister said.

According to him, the information obtained makes it possible to conclude that UAVs were amazed at the air defense of Ukraine during an attack on the port of Izmail. He stated that the territory of Romania was not the purpose of Russian troops. Tillwar said that Russian drones could not be spotted with a system of early alert due to low height. There are no material damage and victims due to the incidents. Iranian Dron-Kamikadze Shahd fell in Romania on September 4.

The drones launched by the Russian forces for blows in the Odessa region exploded. The Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko stressed that this is "another confirmation" of the threat from the Russian Federation for other countries. In Romania, on September 7, it was stated that residents of the village of Plaur near Izmail intend to relocate through Russian shelling.
