He stressed that not on the statements of individual politicians, it is necessary to evaluate the attitude of the Slovak people to Ukraine. The country will continue to provide humanitarian assistance and technical support, in particular in demining. During a meeting with the President of the European Parliament Robert Mezola Pellegrini, he would have been supplied to the country's Ministry of Health. The speaker assured that Slovakia does not plan to break private military contracts with Ukraine.
He recalled that ammunition for Ukraine is also produced at semi -state enterprises. These shells will not be destroyed. In the east of Slovakia, damaged Ukrainian military equipment is repaired. This is at the initiative of Germany. At the same time, the politician emphasized that Slovakia would no longer provide military assistance from their defensive depots. However, he said, this does not mean that Slovakia turns away from Ukraine.
According to him, his state belongs to those countries that want to make sure that the amount of 50 billion for Ukraine will not remain uncontrolled and these resources will not be in the hands of speculators. He added that on Wednesday, the Prime Ministers of Slovakia and Ukraine will discuss this cooperation in more detail at a working meeting in Uzhgorod.
