"Lyuty" UAV attacked the Orsky Refinery at a distance of 1,400 km: it flew and hit in broad daylight (video)

In the video published by the citizens of the Russian Federation, the rattling of the drone's motor can be heard and the operation of the air defense equipment of the Russian Armed Forces is not heard. OSINTers conducted geolocation of the footage and established that the events took place in the suburbs of Orsk, 5 kilometers northwest of the oil refinery. A post about the appearance of the "Lyuty" drone in Orsk appeared on the channel at 12:38 (roughly 16:38 local time).

In the meantime, the Telegram channel "Dnipro Osint ⟨ Pumpkin ⟩" reported that it is probably about a flight at the point with coordinates 51. 25934160788373, 58. 43600335290022: geolocation was conducted on another video. It is also indicated that it is possible to attack a modified UAV that reaches a distance of more than 1,000 km. The collage shows a screenshot of the recording with the refinery buildings on the horizon and a satellite photo.

The drone attack in Orsk was confirmed by the governor of the Orenburg region Yevhen Solntsev. At 9:40 a. m. (Kiev time), a Russian official warned the Russians about the drone strike and the implementation of the "Kovyor" plan in Omsk. Already at 11:48 Soltsev wrote about a similar threat in Orsk: there is no official data yet on the consequences of the hit. Subsequently, the Exilenova channel published photos showing columns of smoke above the industrial area.

It is indicated that the primary oil processing unit of the Orsk Refinery ELO-AUT was probably damaged. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation wrote about the drone attack on the Orenburg region. On the afternoon of November 11, the Russian command reported the downing of a total of four UAVs, one of which was over the specified region.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not inform about the raid of "Lyuty" drones on a military facility of the Russian Federation at a distance of 1,400 km from Ukraine. It should be noted that a month ago the Orsk Refinery was already under attack by drones of the Armed Forces. The incident took place on October 3. The Russians published footage of the UAV flight and smoke over the point of impact on the Internet.

At the same time, the refinery is the "Orsknaftoorgsintez" chemical plant, which has four primary processing units and can process 6 million tons of oil per year. The products produced by the refinery are gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, etc. At the same time, Russian propagandists did not believe that Ukraine has drones for 1,400 km and said that the raid was organized from Kazakhstan, located 20 km to the south.
