In stores and shops of large Russian cities, people cannot pay cards, and cashiers can report on a daily revenue. The Ministry of Defense is convinced that it is a powerful economic blow to the aggressor. Ukrainian hackers stopped the work of payment terminals across Russia, breaking the cyber defense of the manufacturer's online desk "Evotor". The report appeared in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine on Sunday, December 31.

"The New Year's Cyber ​​Supplies to the Russians: IT Army stopped the work of the Evotor's payment terminals from yesterday. Therefore, the attempt of the Russians to pay for the New Year's gifts to be defeated. The profile ministry specified that Russians cannot pay a card on the cash desks of shops, cafes, hairdressers or any other businesses that use payment terminals. In the Telegram channel, the Evotor IT company from 11:00 began to complain about communications problems.

Moreover, the company did not announce people about the problem of separate posts and users expressed their dissatisfaction in the comments under the post with New Year's greetings. People complained that bonus programs did not work on the cash desks, "hangs" the cash desks themselves and most of the Evotor services are not working.
