"Common Future": Kuleba called the results of the first in the war with Siarto negotiations (video)

According to the Ukrainian diplomat, the main theme of the meeting was the possible European future of Kiev, which also depends on the position of Budapest. The Hungarian Foreign Minister is expecting a 2015 situation. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba negotiated with Hungarian colleague Peter Siarto, during which the European future of Ukraine was discussed. He spoke about the results on his page on the social network Instagram on December 11.

According to him, they have known each other for a long time, but during a full -scale war in Ukraine were first able to hold bilateral negotiations. "We spoke an hour. It was a very long, sincere conversation. We sat down and talked. We were honestly answering each other's questions. Certainly, the main topic was the decision of the European Council to open negotiations on Ukraine's membership in the EU," says Dmytro Kuleba.

At the same time, the head of the Foreign Minister did not open all the details of the negotiation. He called for a little time, because first it is necessary to report on the results of the meeting to President Vladimir Zelensky. Peter Siarto, for his part, prepares a report for Hungary Prime Minister Viktor Orban. Only then can you answer the important question. "Meanwhile, I want to give one signal. I clearly told Peter: we have a common future in Europe. We have to get there as soon as possible.

Together," - summed up Dmytro Kuleba. First of all, Peter Siarto mentioned that by February 2022, they met with Dmitry Kuleba, spoke and discussed important things, because they aimed to improve relations between countries. Then, after the invasion of the Russian Federation, the meetings were put on a pause. "We talked about the European integration ambitions of Ukraine.

I told my colleague that it is not a tactical issue for us, but a solution that is of historical importance for the future European Union as a whole. The proposal to make a decision is not prepared, and the European Commission is practically no idea what influence It will have Ukraine's membership in the EU for the whole community, " - writes Peter Siarto. The topic of the law on minorities was also raised. Budapest expects that the situation will return for the period of 2015.
