"New Opportunities on the Battle Field": in the US presented the front weapons against the UAV swarms

The new antitrone system was created to protect valuable objects, taking into account the needs of military operators, the manufacturer says. The Honeywell American corporation has presented a new system for detecting and intercepting unmanned aerial vehicles that can resist swarms of drones. The manufacturer stated this on his official website.

It is reported that the new antidron is equipped with a radio frequency detection function with sensory technology that uses light to detect, track and identify objects. It can be installed on vehicles or stationary platforms to protect valuable objects. The system was designed by integration of components from such defense industry manufacturers as Blue Halo, Leonardo DRS, Pierce Aerospace, Silent Sentinel, Walaris, Rocky Research and Versatol.

The President of the Defense and Space Unit Honeywell Aerospace Technologies Matt Malas said that new weapons were created after extensive research and tests, taking into account the needs of military operators. According to him, the system is characterized by "multi -level defense capabilities". "We are pleased to demonstrate this technology for the Air Force and are convinced that the system can provide critical new opportunities in the battlefield," Matt Malas said.

The company also noted that the US Air Force Global Strike recently chose the Honeywell antitrone system mentioned to demonstrate the protection of valuable assets from switching switches. The demonstration is scheduled for January 2025. Recall that the US Marine Corps will receive a powerful microwave weapon of Expeditionary Directored Energy Counter-Swarm (ExDECS), which can destroy drones with shots worth 5 cents.
