After the ballistics strike in the city, the politician remembered poetry. Acting Mayor of Zaporozhye Regina Kharchenko read a poem by Yuri Izdryk, who aimed to reassure Ukrainians. The poem describes the ways that a person can answer the threats. A new official posted a video with reading poems on the Facebook page.

Kharchenko posted a short video, shot, approximately, April 19. The frame shows an official who reads the poem in the office Izdrick "Instruction". The text proposes to "take yourself in movements and breathe" at the moment when the unknown comes and "prophecy. " The author describes the benefits of being and nothingness. At night, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation once again fired at Ukraine, using three Iscander ballistic missiles, two C-300 anti-aircraft missiles and two controlled X-59 flights. According to the official, there were no meetings in the City Council for four months that would arrange the life of the city.

Among other things, the utilities did not get proper funds to order the streets. At that time, the administration was headed by the City Council Secretary Andriy Kurtev. Therefore, the deputies were collected and they supported the new "mayor" - Kharchenko. Regina Kharchenko is a 33-year-old politician who became a deputy of the Zaporizhzhya City Council in 2020 from the "servants of the people". Education is a journalist and jurisprudence.

She worked in positions in the Regional Directorate of the Pension Fund and at Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo, and before the election she provided legal advice. Meanwhile, in August 2023, NABU reported criminal proceedings against Andrei Kurtev. Investigators suspected the official of illegal enrichment and corruption.
