Citizens' communications sow panic and go against the official comments of the DRG border comments, such as the "Russian Volunteer Corps" and the Legion "Freedom of Russia". Military researchers are referring to a recent publication in Kommersant, which states that the authorities may resort to special digital mechanisms to fully control and disable mobile communications.
The authors of the article write that changes in the official strategy of development of the communication industry, and mechanisms created for law enforcement agencies and network operators, can provide complete control over the joint frequencies in the event of an emergency.
It is noted with the reference to experts that the sharing of frequencies will allegedly improve the quality of mobile communications "in peacetime", as operators will be available frequencies that are currently used only by law enforcement agencies.
