Pensions to the military can increase: how will affect the length of service during hostilities

People's deputies will consider ways to improve vacations of servicemen, such as child care, and the issue of pensions. The Ukrainian Parliament will consider the bill No. 10313 on the accrual of preferential service to servicemen during the martial law, which can be found on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.

The authors of the document headed by the leader of the "Servant of the People" faction David Arahamia and the head of the National Security Committee Alexander Zaitnevich propose to improve the topic with vacations of servicemen, for example, for the care of a child, and the issue of pensions for military.

The presidential representative in the Verkhovna Rada Fedir Venislavsky reminded that according to the current Cabinet resolution of 1992, participation in hostilities in wartime is counted as a preferential scheme for years, that is, one month of service is considered three. Deputies plan to differentiate this privilege and prescribe it in the law.

Recall that children and relatives of the missing military person are entitled to a pension, regardless of the insurance experience of the breadwinner. In particular, these are children under the age of 18, children who are orphaned children under 23, as well as senior citizens with disabilities who have received disabilities before reaching the age of 18. Meanwhile, the new focus article is about the appointment of pensions for years of service to servicemen.
