SAU "PUBUSKA": Experts explained why Russians put logs on towers of their self -esteem (video)

Russian "craftsmen" are trying to protect their armored vehicles from drones-Kamikadze in various ways, but the effectiveness of this decision remains in question. Russian artillery often becomes the object of attacks of Ukrainian drones-Kamikadze. In order to save the equipment, the invaders often resort to the installation of protective screens and metal grilles, but recently there were footage with Russian SUS 2C19 "MSTA-C" with logs on the tower.

The "know-how" of Russian artillerymen was told on October 16, Defense 24. The crews of Russian armored vehicles of all types know that there are many dangers on the front, especially attacks of ammunition. Therefore, the crew of the Russian self-esteem "MSTA-S" decided to increase its survival in the original way-with the help of logs, which completely closed the sides of the tower and part of its front.

In addition, the car received a "classic visor", designed mainly for protection against hand grenades discharged from drones. "Can such a shelter protect the car from destruction due to an attack, such as a drone equipped with a cumulative warhead? Faster no," Polish experts explained. At the same time, wooden logs, if lucky, can theoretically partially protect the crew.

At the same time, something similar was already met at the front performed by Russian "craftsmen" - such "protection" was previously installed on trucks. Earlier it was reported that Russian troops received the latest self -propelled installation "Malva", but the quality of the machines leaves much to be desired.
