"Reunite with families": Qatar announced the exchange of children between Ukraine and Russia

According to an unnamed Qatar official, nine minors and one adult will return to Ukraine, and four minors to Russia. Qatar reported that an agreement was reached to exchange children between Ukraine and Russia. About it writes the French edition of Le Monde with reference to an unnamed Qatar official. "Nine minors and one adult reunite with their families in Ukraine," the official said. He said that "four minors" would return to Russia.

The age of nine children who will return to Ukraine from 12 to 17 years. Children who will go to Russia from 2 to 7 years. "All of them will be adopted at the Qatar Embassy in Moscow before reuniting with their families," the material reads. Journalists also reminded that Qatar has been mediator in the return and exchange of children between Ukraine and Russia since July 2023.
