Russia wants to restore cooperation with India on SU-75: New Delhi

Rostech reported that some technical changes were made to the Su-75 design that optimize the price of the machine. The question is now whether India will participate in the aircraft development program. Rostekh State Corporation on a significant reduction in the cost of the Prospective Su-75 CheckMate fighter, explaining it with some "technical changes". This step is allegedly related to the remarks and reviews of the potential buyer that India can be.

Thus, after the Russian-Indian project for the development of a new aircraft failed, Moscow does not leave the hope of attracting the Indian side as a partner. This was reported on February 4 by The Eurasian Times. According to Roszma, Rostekh allegedly received feedback from potential customers, so that the Russian side has decided to make technical changes in the design of the SU-75 Checkmate for its cheaper.

"This made it possible to significantly increase the competitiveness, commercial attractiveness, and reduce the technical risks when creating a domestic single -volume aircraft," the corporation reported. At the same time, Rostekh did not specify what changes were made, but Russian engineers allegedly did not have to make much effort, and optimization did not take much time due to the modular fighter architecture.

In considering whether India should participate in the SU-75 development program, Anil Hosla's Aviation Marshal said that it needs to be approached from several sides. He urged New Delhi to exercise caution and, before taking any obligations and making a final decision, to carry out a detailed analysis of costs and benefits.

According to him, it is extremely important that India strategically assesses whether the mutual agreement can bring more benefits, because any decision should lead to favorable results for both parties. The observers have noted that India is currently working on creating its own advanced fighter. The ambitious project of the Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft [FGFA] is already being implemented, and New Deli puts considerable money in his success.

Therefore, from the point of view of the Indian defense industry, the question arises whether a potential alliance with Russia, a complex geopolitical partner, threatened the Indian project? In any case, the authors of the material write, the fact remains-in the absence of external financing and the buyer the time of construction of the prototype, the projection of which began in early 2020, are constantly transferred.

Doubts of Indian officials who closely monitor the situation in Ukraine cause not too exclusive results of Russian aircraft in the war. The geopolitical situation and sanction restrictions can be added here that Russia has problems with exporting high -tech military spare parts. "To some extent, it is necessary to take into account the geopolitical situation in the world, international cooperation.

Due to the long war, which will soon begin in the third year, Russia is difficult to export military spare parts. As it will affect the export of fighters, it is still unknown," Hosla summed up. We will remind, now the Aviation Corporation of the UAK is working to improve the new color scheme of the anti-radiolocating coating, which is intended to increase the secrecy of the Su-75 Checkmate aircraft.
