Ukraine hit the thermal power plant in Oryol with missiles: the Russian authorities assure that it was drones (video)

Share: On the night of November 5, the Russian city of Orel was attacked by rockets, as a result of which the local thermal power plant was damaged. "Again Orel. Again rockets. Again on CHP," reads the caption to the video of the "Exilenova+" Telegram channel. On the captured footage, a high-speed target can be heard flying through the city, followed by a powerful explosion and a glow.

Despite the recorded video, Oryol Region Governor Andriy Klychkov said that the city was not attacked by missiles, but by drones. "As a result of the work of air defense forces over Oryol, an enemy UAV was destroyed. During the fall of some of their elements, several private houses and a farm building were damaged," Klychkov wrote, without mentioning the strike on the local CHP plant.
