The Russian politician appealed to the International Committee of the Red Cross against Russian citizens who do not want to live in hostilities. The appeal appeared a day after the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation hit the truck in the Donbass, from which the ICRC staff was distributed.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) should urgently evacuate 90 Russian families who, through the escape of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, were in the Kursk region -controlled Ukraine. Citizens are worried that they were suddenly found in the territory where active fighting of the Russo-Ukrainian war is underway. A request to the ICRC appeared in the Telegram channel of the deputy of the State Duma of Russia Dmitry Kuznetsov.

Kuznetsov's post appeared on the network on the evening of September 13. The Russian wrote that the priest and a group of relatives of the Russian citizens who did not have time to leave the Sudzhansky district of Kursk region because of the rapid departure of the Armed Forces and the escape of local authorities. To save them from the war zone, the politician wrote an appeal to the head of the ICCH Mirjana Spolarych-Egger.

It is indicated that 698 people, or 90 families to be exported with the support of this international organization. A member of the State Duma in a post specified what route they should move: not through the territory of the Russian Federation, but to others - to Ukraine. The Russian deputy noted that the ICRC staff should create a special humanitarian corridor to save civilians. At the same time, he explained that the Russians need to be exported to Ukraine.

On September 16, he clarified what he was in mind because he was misunderstood. The politician stressed that the route should not end in Ukraine, but to go on to Belarus and then to the Russian Federation. On the social network X (Twitter) and on the ICRC portal there is still no reaction to the appeal of the Russians to evacuate from Sudzh.
